Free-With-Bet
What is Free-With-Bet?
Free-With-Bet allows you to access certain Past Performances, Insider Picks, and Power Plays at no charge when you meet the wagering requirement for the corresponding track and race date.
What is the Free-With-Bet wagering requirement?
You must place one or more qualifying wagers totaling at least $2 on the track and race date associated with the product.
The $2 requirement is based on your total qualifying wagering for that track and race date. You may combine multiple smaller wagers to meet the minimum.
For example:
- One settled $2 wager qualifies.
- Two settled $1 wagers qualify.
- Four settled $0.50 wagers qualify.
- One settled $1 wager does not qualify.
Your wagers may be placed on any race at the applicable track on that race date.
What is considered a qualifying wager?
A qualifying wager must:
- Be placed through your wagering account.
- Be placed on the track associated with the product.
- Be placed for the race date associated with the product.
- Be settled and not refunded, cancelled, or voided.
The wager type and race number do not matter. However, wagering on another track or race date does not count toward the requirement.
Do refunded, cancelled, or voided wagers count?
No. Only settled wagers count toward the $2 qualifying minimum.
For example, if your selected horse is scratched and your wager is refunded, that wager will not count. You must place another qualifying wager to meet the minimum.
Which products are eligible for Free-With-Bet?
Eligible products may include:

What happens if I do not meet the wagering requirement?
If your settled qualifying wagers total less than $2, your wagering account will be charged the product’s regular price.
Applicable product charges are generally processed after wagering closes. Please allow up to 24 hours for the transaction to appear in your account.
Why was I charged upfront for a Free-With-Bet product?
You may be required to pay upfront if the price of a previous Free-With-Bet product could not be collected from your wagering account.
If you meet the $2 qualifying minimum for the new product’s track and race date, the upfront product price will be refunded after wagering closes. Please allow up to 24 hours for the refund to appear.
After the refund is processed, you will be able to access eligible Free-With-Bet products without paying upfront again.
What happens if the track cancels?
If the track completes three or fewer races, you will not be charged for the Free-With-Bet product, even if you did not meet the $2 qualifying minimum.
If Race 4 or a later race is completed before the remainder of the card is cancelled, you must meet the $2 qualifying minimum to receive the product for free.
Are products purchased by credit card refundable?
No. Purchases made directly by credit card are final and cannot be refunded, including when a track cancels.
What should I do if I believe I was charged incorrectly?
Contact Player Services if:
- You met the $2 qualifying minimum but were charged.
- You were charged more than once.
- A charge appeared after the track completed three or fewer races.
- You do not recognize a handicapping product charge.
Please provide the product, track, and race date associated with the charge.
